The legend never ends! We were blessed with the opportunity to release the most diabolical new material from the other side of the world, from Belo Horizonte, Brazil—a sacred place that produced numerous bands and influenced black metal worldwide.
Satanicristo is a new project by Ron Seth, guitarist of Impurity, who made a miraculous visit to Japan in 2015, captivating and brainwashing fans with their authentic Satanic rituals, and drummer Leprous, a former member of Sarcofago (Black Vomit demo and Warfare Noise comp!), Mutilator, and Holocausto, now delivering intense beats in Tormentador.
This four-track debut, filled with their hatred for Christianity that has remained unchanged since the 80s, is, of course, based on the traditional Belo Horizonte sound. However, it also strongly shows the influence of Blasphemy, with whom they have had a long-standing friendship, and VON, whom Ron Seth reveres. In an era where the unique sound of black metal from various countries, including Brazil, is being lost due to globalism, this work could only have been created by them in 2020s Brazil. These are challenging times for black metal. While being a legendary act, they continue to stay sharp by boldly embracing both the old and the new… this is their ultimate, all-out strike!
