2026年6月14日にベトナム・ハノイで行われたHouse of Ygra主催ライブイベントMASS:VIIで販売された、ポルトガルの90年代メタルファンジンAzakeninng of the Gods zineアーカイブ第二弾！収録されているインタビューは、Ancient Rites、Bathory、Sadist、Absu、Ragnarok、Bal-Sagothといったエクストリームメタル界の重鎮たち、そしてBathoryのポルトガル初来訪に関する特集記事。全100ページ！

編集、制作のRicardoさんは現在ベトナム在住で、ポルトガル初のブラックメタルバンドDecayedの元ボーカリスト。90年代ヨーロッパシーンの生き字引として、ベトナムのヤングメタルヘッズに慕われている存在。プロ仕様のしっかりとしたZINEで、カバーアートはVongのメンバーが担当しています。

One of the highlights this Sunday at our ritual of black MASS is the release of the long-awaited second issue of Awakening Of The Gods zine, edited and compiled by the one and only Ricardo Wanderer. 

As a very familiar feature at every House of Ygra show, Ricardo (a die-hard metalhead and ex-vocalist for legendary black metal band Decayed from Portugal) and AOTG Zine are prime examples of the undying passion for the underground extreme metal traditions, which have lived on unbothered by trends and fads since the 90s until now. Awakening Of The Gods is not just a mere fanzine, but history in a capsule, carefully compiled and edited from a massive library of interview, flyers and other memorabilia curated from Ricardo’s own collection. As with the first issue, the cover artwork for the second one is also done by the member of Vong.

The second issue will feature interviews with infamous acts of the extreme metal world like Ancient Rites, Bathory, Sadist, Absu, Ragnarok, Bal-Sagoth and a special feature of Bathory’s first visit to Portugal.
